The Small Print

  • The sale is being organised by Sue Tappenden (the Organiser) with a huge team of helpers;

  • In order to ensure that only a high standard of goods that fall within the spirit of the event are included, we reserve the right to reject items of clothing/accessories put forward for sale by Sellers.  Our decision is final and so please don’t argue or be offended if we turn your items down;

  • Sellers submit clothes for sale at their own risk.  Whilst all reasonable care will be taken to ensure the security, safety and wellbeing of items, the Organiser is not responsible and cannot be held responsible for any damage that may be caused to Sellers’ items, including theft;

  • Sellers must only use the Edit price labels provided by the Organisers and price items in accordance with the required format;

  • Whilst pricing guidelines will be provided to Sellers, Sellers set their own price for each item.  There is no guarantee of selling any item submitted to the sale;

  • Sellers must indicate clearly on the price tag the amount that they wish to sell each item for;

  • It is the responsibility of the Seller to collect any unsold items from the Organisers at the times described within the Selling Process information.  Any items remaining uncollected after 7 days of the Sale will be disposed of at the discretion of the Organisers, unless alternative arrangements have been specifically agreed;

  • The Organisers reserve the right to extend the opportunity to “sell” at the Sale to local businesses selling related goods and services and to invite Guest supporters of the event;

  • As before, the Sale will be supporting the Hospice in the Weald and making a donation from any profit that is made.  Reasonable expenses will be deducted from the money raised.
